(for ISPs and Internet Café Operators)

For Internet Service Providers

For Internet Café Operators

For Internet Service Providers:

  1. What technical setup do I need at our end in order to deploy this SERVICE to my internet café connections?

The ICMSv1.0 system runs on linux. Thus you need to have a running linux server at your office. Once you have signed-up for the service, we shall send you a subset of the whole ICMSv1.0 program that you will then install in your linux box. Installation of the program shall be the responsibility of the ISP. For your convenience, we provide linux consultancy and retainer services. Please click here for a pricing and procedure matrix.

  2. How do I administer the service and activate/deactivate it per dial-up internet café account of ours?

We shall give you an administration website, with username and password authentication, where you can define the ip address assigned to each dial-up internet café account.

  3. What other costs may I be incurring in the future?

If you want to avail of the any enterprise features of the service or other customized details, Asia Allied can do this for you at separate service fees.

  4. Is your system secure?

We employ standard SSL and SSH protocols and have full-time system administrators monitoring and maintaining our servers 24x7.

  5. Why are you giving it for FREE?

Advertising revenue to be generated will cover costs of maintaining the site and the service. There will be sections on the Administration site for both internet café and internet service provider where banners of our advertisers will be seen.

  6. Can I charge the Internet Café getting this service from us?

Competition is getting tough and we have to continuously think of ways to retain our clients or get new ones. And offering this service for free is one of them. Providing the service will entail very minimal, even negligible new costs, at your end but the benefits are great - locking your customers to your service.

  7. How do I sign-up to receive this FREE service?

For Internet Café Operators:

  1. How do I avail of this free service?

Call your local internet service provider and ask if he has signed-up with Asia Allied Technologies to get this free service. If your ISP has not signed-up, tell them about the service and that he should go to www.asiaallied.com to learn more about it.

  2. What technical setup do I have to have at my end?

You do not need to have a linux server at your end. Since most internet cafes are using some form of "internet server" (such as the Dlink internet server) which automatically dials when a workstation is used, you can still use the ICMSv1.0 by disabling the Network Address Translation facility of your "internet server." This way, you can then log onto the administration site provided by your internet service provider and from there, activate and deactivate your internet workstations. Having a linux server on your Local Area Network would definitely be an advantage as you can maximize your bandwidth to the fullest and provide more personalized services such as, among others, free email addresses for your users using your_internet_café.com as domain.

  3. Do I have to pay anything to the ISP who is providing this service?

No. The service should be given for free and is part of our service agreement with the Internet Service Provider.

  4. Why are you giving this service for free?

Advertising revenue to be generated will cover costs of maintaining the site and the service. There will be sections on the Administration site for both internet café and internet service provider where banners of our advertisers will be seen.

  5. I am interested in this service but there is no local ISP providing this service, what can I do?

Please sign-up here and we will get in touch with an ISP in your locality and offer them to carry the service. Be advised though that if your current ISP is not capable or willing to carry the service then you may have to transfer your subscription to the ISP that is doing so.
